We are delighted to report that the World Quality Day conference was a great success! Speakers from organisations as diverse as Siemens and London Probation offered inspiration and support in equal measure.
John Seddon opened the event in typically combative style, discussing how replacing target-driven cultures with a systems-based management approach can revolutionise productivity. The day then focused on how to liberate organisations from restrictive and self-defeating processes, introducing systems that allow the business to develop.
For those who missed him (or didn’t get their fill) John will be back with the CQI in December, presenting the seminar ‘Systems Thinking in Service Organisations’. More about this inspirational event can be found on our website.
I hope you enjoy this month's issue. As always please do contact me if you have any questions, comments or feedback.
